Relieving Mental Fatigue, Mental Tension and Dull Headaches
Rubbing Your Temples
This simple massage technique takes two minutes to perform. It stimulates an increase of blood and oxygen supply to the brain and helps make you more alert.
If you're tired and depleted, it will wake you up and increase your alertness and help remedy blurry vision from fatigue.
On the other hand, if you're tense and nervous, or feeling a dull headache, this technique helps by releasing muscular tension on the forehead and around the eyes.
You perform this technique by massaging the side of your head with the first, second and third fingers of each hand (the index, middle and third fingers). You will be using just your fingertips to touch your temples – the area to each side of the forehead (sides of head, in front of top half of ears).

Touch your head on each side, with your fingers about eye level.

With your fingertips, apply light pressure on both sides of your head, keeping your fingers together as one.

Rotate your fingers in tiny circles, left and right.

Feel your fingers gently stretching the skin from side to side. This motion is massaging your temples.

Perform a series of three or four circular motions at eye level.

Then release your fingers and move them a little higher up.

Apply pressure near the hairline on both sides of head, then move your fingers in circular motions.

After you've worked one area, release pressure, move your fingers higher up to another spot and begin again.

Work your way two or three inches up.

If you’re feeling a dull headache, do the same massage technique by rubbing on your forehead, placing each set of fingers above each eye and eyebrow.
This technique not only revives one, but also helps to clear up blurry vision. As always, consult with your physician before performing this stress reducing aid.
